Tanja Buzzi Moriarty earned a Communications degree from Southern Connecticut State University, focusing on journalism. She worked for several years as a reporter for the Middletown Press, a freelance writer for small publications and newsletters, publicity coordinator at a private high school, and two terms as Selectwoman of the Town of Haddam.
For a regular paycheck, Tanja is a development coordinator for St. Vincent De Paul Middletown where she she writes grant applications and manages the agency’s social media. Her alternate work is writing.
Tanja, a Connecticut native, lives with her husband Sean and is the mother of two adult children.
